    Oregon Rent Increase and No-Cause Notice Restrictions (State Law SB608)


    This two hour class will teach you everything you need to know about the state law SB608 that established a state wide rent increase limit and significantly restricted a landlord's ability to use a No-Cause notice of termination. Landlord's can be exempt from paying the relocation fee with some specific qualifying reasons that we will cover in detail.

    EVICTIONS! An in-depth training on the complete eviction process


    Are you confident in your ability to evict a tenant? Do you know what small, honest mistakes are responsible for the majority of lost eviction cases? These mistakes can add weeks or even months to the time it takes until your tenant is evicted. Some can even result in counter-suits that cost landlords thousands of dollars. This class will cover everything eviction related from beginning to end.

We will cover those as well as the process and form a landlord can use to verify that the tenant isn't making a false claim to trick you in to approving their pet.

    Topic: Abandoned Property


    Did your tenant leave a bunch of "stuff" after they left? Do you know how to tell what is garbage and what is abandoned property according to the law? You can't just put stuff outside and tell the tenant to come and get it if they want. You also don't have to store their stuff forever if they don't come back to get it. We'll cover all of this.


    Note: We will NOT cover what to do if the abandoned property is a titled vehicle, mobile/manufactured home, or a floating home. These have additional special rules that we won't have time to cover.
