Law and Rule Required Course

If you are a Property Manager or Broker, this LARRC course is required to renew your license.

Topics will include:

• 1.      Difference between statutes and regulations.

• 2.      License law and administrative rule changes affecting real estate licensees.

• 3.      Changes brought by recent law changes.

• 4.      Requirements for continuing education, license renewal, and transfer of license.

This course is intended meet the requirements of 696.174. (1).  To renew an active license, a real estate licensee must complete 30 hours of real estate continuing education courses that are eligible for credit under ORS 696.182 during the two years preceding the renewal. The 30 hours must include at least three hours in a course on recent changes in real estate rule and law approved by the Real Estate Board.
